There are plenty of different beverages available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best value for money wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of finding excellent wines.
I did always drink cocktails and have a great Diaper Stripes recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Diaper Stripes recipe uses only these ingredients:
1 bottle Yoo-hoo® chocolate milk
top with spiced rum
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break the budget by consuming a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wines or preservative free wine. I love Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
