Dirty Dog recipe

There are so many different beverages available now that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a great Dirty Dog recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Dirty Dog recipe uses only these ingredients:

1 oz Hennessy® cognac
1 1/2 oz vodka
5 oz chilled orange juice
1 oz chilled cranberry juice
ice

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break your budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
