There are many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the best ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of discovering excellent wines.

I would often drink cocktails and have a great Diva recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Diva recipe consists of these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz Absolut® vodka
1/2 oz passion-fruit juice
1/2 oz lime juice
1 tbsp cherry juice
fill with 7-Up® soda

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break your budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I love French wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are considering drinking.
