Double Intention recipe

There are many different beverages available now that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to know which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of finding great wines.
I would mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Double Intention recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Double Intention recipe includes only these ingredients:
1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1/2 oz creme de cacao
1/2 oz Midori® melon liqueur
4 oz half-and-half
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break a budget by consuming a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink organic wines or preservative free wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.
If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how purchasing organic wine is less harmful for out planet. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
If you have a particular wine which you love to drink then tell us about it by leaving us a brief comment or if you have any questions such as how to choose a good wine or anything about champagne then ask us and we will get back to you!
