There are many different drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering delicious wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a good Double Pucker recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Double Pucker recipe includes only these ingredients:
1 oz apple schnapps
1 oz watermelon schnapps
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy American wines but am happy to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
