There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of finding great wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a great D.W.I. recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the D.W.I. recipe consists of the following ingredients:

1 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1 oz Jose Cuervo® 1800 tequila
1 can chilled Bud Light® lager

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break your budget by having a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I love Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
