There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a great Elmer Fuddpucker recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Elmer Fuddpucker recipe consists of only these ingredients:
1 can limeade
12 oz vodka
3 cans light beer
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break your budget by drinking a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine information to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.
