There are so many different drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to know which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of choosing excellent wines.

I would always drink cocktails and have a great Emerald Isle recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Emerald Isle recipe uses the following ingredients:

2 oz gin
1 tsp green creme de menthe
3 dashes bitters

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break your budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wines or low sulphate wine. I adore Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine information to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are thinking of drinking.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then visit Treehugger for information on how purchasing organic food is less harmful for soils. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.

If you have a favourite wine which you like to drink then spread the word by leaving us a message or if you have any questions such as which cheap wines are the best or anything about wine then ask us and we will get back to you!
