There are so many different beverages available these days that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of choosing excellent wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a good Eyes Wide Shut recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Eyes Wide Shut recipe uses the following ingredients:

1/2 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz Crown Royal® Canadian whisky
1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 oz orange juice
1/2 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz cranberry juice
1 splash grenadine syrup

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break your budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore French wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then visit Treehugger for help on how buying organic food is less destructive for soils. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
