There are so many different beverages available these days that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of discovering excellent wines.
I did always drink cocktails and have a good Farmer Giles recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Farmer Giles recipe consists of these ingredients:
2 oz gin
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes bitters
1 twist lemon peel
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break your budget by consuming a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink organic wines or preservative free wine. I enjoy French wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are considering drinking.
