There are so many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the best ways to know which the best value for money wines are is to find reviews. That means you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of discovering excellent wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a great Field of Hearts recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Field of Hearts recipe consists of only these ingredients:

1 cl Midori® melon liqueur
1 1/2 cl strawberry liqueur
1 1/2 cl Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
1 1/2 cl Galliano® herbal liqueur
4 1/2 cl cream

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break the budget by consuming some cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wines or low sulphate wine. I adore French wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.
