Flapper recipe

There are plenty of different drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to know which the best wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of discovering great wines.
I used to always drink cocktails and have a great Flapper recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Flapper recipe includes only these ingredients:
1 oz rum
1 oz French vermouth
1 dash Angostura® bitters
1/4 tsp sugar
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break the budget by drinking some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I love Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.
If you are interested in organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how buying organic food is less damaging for the environment. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
