There are many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to know which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of choosing excellent wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a great Florida Freeze recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Florida Freeze recipe uses these ingredients:

1 1/4 oz dark rum
1 1/4 oz coconut cream
1 oz orange juice
2 oz pineapple juice

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break the budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wines or low sulphate wine. I love American wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.
