There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available now that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of finding great wines.

I would mostly drink cocktails and have a good Fruity Screaming Fuzzy Navel recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Fruity Screaming Fuzzy Navel recipe consists of these ingredients:

64 oz orange juice
8 oz peach schnapps
8 oz Absolut® vodka
4 bottles strawberry daiquiri mix

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break the budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy American wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are contemplating drinking.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how purchasing organic food is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
