There are so many different drinks available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to know which the best value for money wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of discovering delicious wines.

I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Fuzzy Monkey #2 recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Fuzzy Monkey #2 recipe consists of the following ingredients:

1 oz peach schnapps
1 oz banana liqueur
1 1/2 oz orange juice

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break the budget by having a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I love American wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are considering purchasing.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how choosing organic food is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
