German Wine in Ruso

Having a glass of wine from time to time is not only decompressing for many people, it is also reported to have excellent health benefits. Although perhaps not proven, drinking the odd glass of wine, and red wine in particular, is accepted to reduce the risk of heart disease, provide an increased amount of cancer protection and could possibly also somewhat reduce the signs of aging.

You could say that I do not drink much wine each week, I do partake in a glass of German wine occasionally, generally when I'm enjoying a meal with friends and family. My last time in Ruso was at Clare's. That is a good place to eat and enjoy a glass of German wine. Not to mention, you can possibly also do a bit of celebrity spotting there as someone mentioned to me that Penelope Cruz once drank there. I'm not sure that really happened though.

Speaking about celebrities, that reminds me of this not so famous line:

Of all the properties which belong to honorable men, not one is so highly prized as that of character.

I don't know who came up with that and not that I am aware why I quite suddenly remembered that but I digress...

Back on topic, if you are hoping to have a relaxing drink of wine (or much more) in Ruso, try some German wine, it's really great.
