A small glass of wine now and then is not only a relaxing experience for some people, it is also accepted by many to have a lot of health benefits. Although it may not be proven, consumption of wine, and red wine in particular, is widely believed to reduce the risk of heart disease, provide an increased amount of cancer protection and can also significantly defer the signs of aging.
Gewurtztraminer Wine in Milo
Even though I don't drink wine on a weekly basis, I do drink a glass of Gewurtztraminer wine sometimes, quite often when I'm spending a quiet meal with a group of friends. The most recent time I had dinner in Milo was at Best Western Matagorda Hotel & Conference Cent. I believe that restaurant is a excellent place to eat and enjoy a glass of Gewurtztraminer wine. Not to mention, you can possibly also do a little celebrity spotting there as someone told me that Gillian Anderson once drank there. I am not sure if that's a true story though.
While on the subject of celebrities, that reminds me of a well known quote:
Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don't hang around long enough for his or her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people.
Not that I have a clue who wrote that and not that I am aware why I just suddenly recalled that but we can leave that for another time...
Back on topic, if you are wanting to have a delicious glass of wine (or more) in Milo, try some Gewurtztraminer wine, it's really delicious.
