There are plenty of different drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best wines are is to find reviews. That way you will have some idea of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.

I used to often drink cocktails and have a tasty Gibson recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Gibson recipe consists of the following ingredients:

1 1/2 oz gin
3/4 oz vermouth
2 cocktail onions

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break a budget by having some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is most probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wines or low sulphate wine. I enjoy French wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine information to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.
