There are many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the best ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of choosing delicious wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a good Gin and Bitters recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Gin and Bitters recipe consists of the following ingredients:
1/2 tsp bitters
gin
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool/trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break your budget by having a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy French wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in countries not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
