There are many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of finding great wines.

I did often drink cocktails and have a great Giraffe recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Giraffe recipe uses only these ingredients:

1 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1 oz vodka
fill with pineapple juice
float with cranberry juice

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by consuming some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wines or no added preservative wine. I adore American wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant comments on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
