There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of choosing great wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a good Golden Delicious recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Golden Delicious recipe includes these ingredients:

1 cup sparkling apple cider
1 shot Goldschlager® cinnamon schnapps

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break a budget by drinking a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy American wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine information to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.
