Greek Wine in Prairie Home

The odd glass of wine now and then is not only nice for quite a number of people, it is also thought to have many health benefits. Although perhaps not proven, drinking the odd glass of wine, and red wine in particular, is widely accepted to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, provide an increased level of cancer protection and can possibly also somewhat reduce the signs of aging.

You could say that I do not drink much wine on a fairly regular basis, I do have a glass of Greek wine every now and then, generally when I'm enjoying a quiet dinner with a group of friends. The last time I headed out for dinner in Prairie Home was at Ethnic Sandwich Shop. That's a great place to eat a meal and enjoy a glass of Greek wine. As an aside, you can possibly also do a little celebrity spotting there as a couple of people mentioned to me that Claudia Schiffer once ate there. However I'm not sure that really happened.

While on the subject of the famous, that reminds me of this not so well known quote:

I think the next best thing to solving a problem is finding some humor in it.

Not that I am aware who came up with that and I am not sure why I just right now recalled that but we'll leave that for another day...

Let's get back to the wine so, if you are trying to have an excellent little glass of wine (or much more) in Prairie Home, try some Greek wine, it's really tasty.
