There are so many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the best ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of discovering great wines.

I would mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Green Cow #2 recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Green Cow #2 recipe includes the following ingredients:

4 cl Absolut® vodka
3 cl Pisang Ambon® liqueur
2 cl milk
fill with Sprite® soda

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break a budget by drinking a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy French wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine information to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant feedback on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then check out Treehugger for information on how choosing organic food is less harmful for out planet. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
