There are many different drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to know which the best wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of discovering excellent wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a good Green Hope recipe which I used to mix. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Green Hope recipe consists of the following ingredients:
3 cl cossack vodka
1/2 cl Bols® Green Curacao liqueur
1/2 cl Bols® creme de bananes
1/2 cl grapefruit juice
1 1/2 cl lemon juice
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool/trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break a budget by drinking a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to order organic wines or preservative free wine. I love Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are contemplating buying.
