There are many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the best ways to know which the best quality wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of finding great wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a good Green Monster recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Green Monster recipe uses only these ingredients:

4 oz vodka
1 small pickled pepper

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break your budget by consuming some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most probably healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy French wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine information to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then visit Treehugger for information on how purchasing organic produce is less damaging for out planet. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.

If you have a favourite wine which you like to drink then tell us about it by leaving us a brief comment or if you have any questions such as how to choose a good wine or anything wine related then ask us and we will get back to you!
