There are plenty of different beverages available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the best ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of finding great wines.

I did mostly drink cocktails and have a good Gumby Dammit recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Gumby Dammit recipe consists of only these ingredients:

1 1/2 oz vodka
1 oz Midori® melon liqueur
fill with apple cider
ice

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break a budget by having some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are thinking of buying.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for details on how purchasing organic food is less damaging for out planet. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
