There are so many different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.
I did often drink cocktails and have a good Harley Davidson #2 recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Harley Davidson #2 recipe includes only these ingredients:
1 part Malibu® coconut rum
1 part Jagermeister® herbal liqueur
1 part whiskey
1 part lemon juice
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break your budget by having a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore French wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
