There are many different drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of finding excellent wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a great Heilig recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Heilig recipe consists of the following ingredients:

1/2 shot blueberry schnapps
1/2 shot vodka
1 splash cranberry juice

Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a cool/trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break the budget by drinking a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to order organic wine or no added preservative wine. I love Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are contemplating buying.
