There are so many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is not easy to know what to buy. One of the best ways to find out which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really the best way of discovering great wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a good Holland Martini recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Holland Martini recipe consists of these ingredients:

2 oz genever gin
1/2 oz vermouth

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break a budget by drinking some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most probably much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wines or low sulphate wine. I adore American wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant feedback on the wine you are considering drinking.
