Hong Kong Smog recipe

There are so many different beverages available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to know which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of choosing great wines.
I did always drink cocktails and have a great Hong Kong Smog recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Hong Kong Smog recipe uses these ingredients:
2 1/4 oz Tanqueray® gin
3/4 oz Midori® melon liqueur
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can simply break a budget by having some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wine or no added preservative wine. I adore Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.
There are many websites where you can find wine information to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are thinking of buying.
If you are interested in organic wines then check out Treehugger for information on how buying organic wine is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
