There are so many different beverages available these days that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to know which the best wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of choosing excellent wines.

I would often drink cocktails and have a tasty Hot Mulled Cider #2 recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Hot Mulled Cider #2 recipe consists of only these ingredients:

8 cups apple cider
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 ground nutmeg
6 inches cinnamon sticks
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cloves
8 thin oranges slices
8 cloves

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break the budget by having a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or no added preservative wine. I enjoy American wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then check out Treehugger for details on how buying organic wine is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
