There are many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to find out which the best wines are is to check out reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of choosing excellent wines.
I would mostly drink cocktails and have a good Hummingbird recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Hummingbird recipe includes only these ingredients:
1 oz bananas
1 oz coconut cream
1 oz creme de bananes
1 oz rum
1/2 oz Tia Maria® coffee liqueur
1 oz strawberries
crushed ice
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break the budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wine or preservative free wine. I adore Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine information to help you make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are considering drinking.
