There are so many different drinks available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best wines are is to find reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of finding delicious wines.

I did mostly drink cocktails and have a good Irish Whiskey Highball recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. As an example, the Irish Whiskey Highball recipe uses the following ingredients:

2 oz Irish whiskey
6 oz ginger ale

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break your budget by drinking a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I love French wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are contemplating drinking.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then check out Treehugger for information on how purchasing organic produce is less damaging for the environment. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
