There are plenty of different beverages available now that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the easiest ways to find out which the best wines are is to find reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of discovering excellent wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a great Italian Stallion #2 recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Italian Stallion #2 recipe includes the following ingredients:
1 oz sambuca
2 oz orange juice
1 oz Absolut® Citron vodka
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can easily break the budget by consuming a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to white wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy French wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant feedback on the wine you are considering drinking.
If you are thinking of trying organic wines then visit Treehugger for information on how buying organic food is less destructive for out planet. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
