There are so many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really a great way of discovering delicious wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a tasty Jackass Shot recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Jackass Shot recipe consists of only these ingredients:
1/2 oz Barenjager® honey liqueur
1/2 oz butterscotch liqueur
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break the budget by consuming a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever I have a choice I prefer to order organic wines or preservative free wine. I adore American wines but am glad to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to allow you to make a good choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.
