There are so many different alcoholic drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the best ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of finding excellent wines.
I would always drink cocktails and have a great Japanese Jim recipe which I used to mix. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Japanese Jim recipe uses the following ingredients:
2 oz plum wine
1 oz Jim Beam® bourbon whiskey
5 oz 7-Up® soda
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break a budget by consuming some cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a great drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wines or no added preservative wine. I adore French wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.
