It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in countries not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get fairly instant feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.
