There are plenty of different drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the best ways to find out which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really the best way of choosing excellent wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a great Jeremiah recipe which I used to make up. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Jeremiah recipe uses only these ingredients:
1/3 oz creme de cacao
1/3 oz white creme de menthe
1/3 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
ice
milk
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can often break a budget by consuming a few cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to buy organic wines or preservative free wine. I love American wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are considering purchasing.
