There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available now that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really one of the best way of discovering great wines.

I would often drink cocktails and have a tasty Jesus is Here recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Jesus is Here recipe includes only these ingredients:

20 cl Schweppes® Russian tonic water
19 cl vodka

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break a budget by having a few cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a great drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wines or preservative free wine. I adore Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine reviews to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are considering buying.

If you are looking for more information on organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how purchasing organic food is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
