There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to know which the best value for money wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.
I did mostly drink cocktails and have a good Kiss Class recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Kiss Class recipe consists of only these ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Kirschwasser® cherry brandy
1/2 oz creme de cassis
2 oz lemonade
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can simply break a budget by having a couple of cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will choose red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a delicious drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to order Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are thinking of drinking.
