There are many different drinks available now that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the best ways to know which the best wines are is to find reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of finding delicious wines.
I used to mostly drink cocktails and have a good Kiwi-Berry Boat Drink recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Kiwi-Berry Boat Drink recipe includes only these ingredients:
2 oz vodka
1 1/2 oz Snapple® Kiwi-Strawberry soda
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can simply break your budget by having some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is most likely much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I love French wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are considering drinking.
If you are thinking of trying organic wines then visit Treehugger for details on how choosing organic wine is less harmful for soils. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
