There are many different beverages available now that it is confusing to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of choosing delicious wines.

I would always drink cocktails and have a great Kiwi Sparkle recipe which I used to mix. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Kiwi Sparkle recipe uses the following ingredients:

3 oz Champagne
1/2 oz kiwi liqueur
1 oz kiwi juice

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during specials, you can often break a budget by drinking a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink white wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and believe that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever possible I prefer to drink organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy French wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines made in countries not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine information to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine forums because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are contemplating purchasing.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then see Treehugger for information on how purchasing organic produce is less destructive for the environment. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
