There are so many different drinks available now that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the best ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of choosing great wines.
I used to often drink cocktails and have a tasty Kurant Shot recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Kurant Shot recipe uses the following ingredients:
2 cl Absolut® Kurant vodka
fill with Sprite® soda
Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break your budget by consuming a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to drink Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I adore American wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the country where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer white or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I prefer to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are considering buying.
