La Jolla recipe

There are so many different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is not easy to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some idea of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really a great way of discovering delicious wines.
I did always drink cocktails and have a great La Jolla recipe which I used to make up. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the La Jolla recipe consists of only these ingredients:
2 oz brandy
1/2 oz creme de bananes
1 tsp orange juice
1/2 oz lemon juice
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break a budget by having a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will drink red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a tasty drink which is probably healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever I can I prefer to drink organic wine or preservative free wine. I enjoy French wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in areas not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get immediate feedback on the wine you are thinking of buying.
If you are interested in organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how purchasing organic food is less damaging for the environment. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
