Lack Affection recipe

There are plenty of different drinks available now that it is difficult to know what to choose. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really the best way of choosing great wines.

I would always drink cocktails and have a tasty Lack Affection recipe which I used to make. Even the most elaborate cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Lack Affection recipe includes these ingredients:

2 1/2 oz Calvados® brandy
1 oz apricot brandy
1 oz apricot brandy
1/2 oz Amaretto Di Saronno® liqueur

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure can be expensive! Even during happy hour, you can easily break a budget by having some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have educated myself on the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a delicious drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or preservative free wine. I adore Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have also tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to judge a wine based on the region where it is produced, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in areas not known for wine production.

There are many sites where you can find wine recommendations to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are considering purchasing.

If you are thinking of trying organic wines then check out Treehugger for help on how choosing organic food is less destructive for out planet. Wikipedia also has some good articles on organic farms and organic food and wine.
