There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available these days that it is difficult to know what to buy. One of the simplest ways to know which the best wines are is to check out reviews. That way you will have some inclination of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of choosing great wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a good Ladyluv recipe which I used to make. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For instance, the Ladyluv recipe uses the following ingredients:

1 1/2 oz blended whiskey
1/2 oz dark rum
1/2 oz anejo rum
1 tsp white creme de cacao

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during discount times, you can often break a budget by having a couple of cocktails. So now, more often than not I will drink rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy organic wines or no added preservative wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am willing to try anything. I have also tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to pick a wine based on the country where it is produced, you can be amazed at the quality of wines made in regions not known for wine production.

There are many places where you can find wine recommendations to help you make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I prefer to read wine forums because you can then get immediate comments on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.

If you are interested in organic wines then visit Treehugger for details on how purchasing organic wine is less damaging for out planet. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.
