There are plenty of different drinks available these days that it is confusing to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. At least that way you will have some inclination of the kind of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Recommendations are really one of the best way of choosing excellent wines.
I would always drink cocktails and have a tasty Listerine Shot recipe which I used to make. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Listerine Shot recipe uses these ingredients:
1/4 oz lime juice
1/2 oz melon liqueur
1/4 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
Cocktails are cool to have at a party or at a cool bar but they sure are expensive! Even during specials, you can often break your budget by having some cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have learnt which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a delicious drink which is most likely healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy French wines but am willing to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Italy before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is grown, you can be shocked at the quality of wines grown in countries not known for wine production.
There are many places where you can find wine information to help you make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find the latest reviews online. I tend to read wine forums because you can then get almost instant opinions on the wine you are contemplating buying.
