There are so many different beverages available these days that it is not easy to know what to choose. One of the easiest ways to discover which the best wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some idea of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of discovering delicious wines.

I used to always drink cocktails and have a good Loftus Special recipe which I used to make. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Loftus Special recipe includes the following ingredients:

1 1/2 oz overproof rum
1 1/2 oz dark rum
3/4 oz white rum
3/4 oz apricot brandy
3/4 oz cherry heering
1/4 oz sugar syrup
2 - 3 dashes grenadine syrup
1 1/2 oz lime juice

Cocktails are fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break the budget by drinking a few cocktails. So these days, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails means I get a tasty drink which is most likely better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I have a choice I prefer to buy organic wines or low sulphate wine. I love French wines but am glad to try anything. I have happily tried wines from Argentina before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not often a good idea to choose a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be shocked at the quality of wines produced in regions not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I like to read wine social media sites because you can then get almost instant comments on the wine you are considering buying.

If you are interested in organic wines then visit Treehugger for help on how choosing organic food is less destructive for soils. Wikipedia also has some excellent articles on organic farming and organic food and wine.
