There are plenty of different alcoholic drinks available in the shops that it is not easy to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to discover which the best value for money wines are is to find reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the flavour of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Reviews are really a great way of finding great wines.
I would often drink cocktails and have a great Look Out Below recipe which I used to make. Even the most seemingly difficult cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Look Out Below recipe uses these ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
2 tsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp grenadine syrup
Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a hip bar but they sure are expensive! Even during discount times, you can easily break the budget by having some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to rose wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and accept that drinking wine over cocktails will mean I get a great drink which is probably much healthier and with fewer calories.
Whenever possible I prefer to buy organic wine or low sulphate wine. I enjoy Australian wines but am glad to try anything. I have even tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not always a good idea to pick a wine based on the location where it is made, you can be amazed at the quality of wines produced in countries not known for wine production.
There are many sites where you can find wine reviews to allow you to make the best choice in wine. Whether you prefer red or sparkling wine, you can find many reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get immediate opinions on the wine you are contemplating drinking.
