Lucky Driver recipe

There are plenty of different beverages available in the shops that it is confusing to know what to get. One of the simplest ways to find out which the best quality wines are is to read reviews. That means you will have some knowledge of the type of wine it is as well as the quality of the wine. Others opinions are really one of the best way of finding great wines.

I did always drink cocktails and have a tasty Lucky Driver recipe which I used to make up. Even the most detailed cocktails are actually easy to make. For example, the Lucky Driver recipe uses these ingredients:

1 cl coconut liqueur
2 cl lemon juice
5 cl pineapple juice
5 cl grapefruit juice
5 cl orange juice
15 cl sugar syrup

Cocktails are a lot of fun to have at a party or at a trendy bar but they sure are very expensive! Even during happy hour, you can often break your budget by consuming some cocktails. So nowadays, more often than not I will stick to red wine or champagne. I have discovered which are the best organic wines available and know that drinking wine over cocktails generally means I get a tasty drink which is probably better for me and with fewer calories.

Whenever I can I prefer to buy Australian organic wine or low sulphate wine. I love Australian wines but am happy to try anything. I have happily tried wines from South Africa before and they have been some of the best wines I have ever had. It is not necessarily a good idea to choose a wine based on the region where it is grown, you can be surprised at the quality of wines grown in areas not known for wine production.

There are many websites where you can find wine recommendations to enable you to make a reliable choice in wine. Whether you prefer rose or sparkling wine, you can find recent reviews online. I tend to read wine blogs because you can then get fairly instant opinions on the wine you are thinking of purchasing.

If you are interested in organic wines then see Treehugger for help on how choosing organic wine is less damaging for soils. Wikipedia also has some great articles on organic growing and organic food and wine.

If you have a special wine which you love to drink then let us know by leaving us a brief comment or if you have any questions such as how to choose a good wine or anything about wine then ask us and we will get back to you!
